Church of the Resurrection, Leawood KS

Rev. Wendy Lyons Chrostek
Senior Director of Congregational Care
Church of the Resurrection Leawood

This conference, presented by Pastor Wendy Chrostek and the Congregational Care team at Church of the Resurrection, guides pastors and churches to organize their congregations for care and equips lay volunteers to listen, visit, comfort and encourage congregants.

Featured Speaker: Rev. Wendy Lyons Chrostek

Wendy grew up in Louisiana and served in Michigan before coming to Church of the Resurrection. She has served at Resurrection since 2009. She is married to Scott Chrostek, the Executive Director of Regional Campuses and Downtown Campus Pastor. They have an amazing son named Freddy.

Empowered is designed for pastors and church staff looking to launch a Congregational Care Ministry program at their church and/or for volunteers looking to become Congregational Care Ministers (CCMs) at churches who have a new or existing program.
